Our innate relationship to water goes far deep. Our ancient ancestors came out of the water and evolved from swimming to crawling to walking.
Like a child depends upon its mother, humans have always depended upon nature for our survival. And just as we intuitively love our mothers, we are linked to nature physically, cognitively, and emotionally.
My love for water had made a profound stamp on me. In this project Oniria I connect on a subconscious level with the water, experimenting and immersing myself and my gown.
The dress that I am wearing is part of a collection that I created all made of recycled materials.
Most of all, it can lead to a deeper understanding of who we are and how our minds and emotions are shaped by our interaction with the most prevalent substance on our planet.
Nothing is more important than reconnecting with nature right now.
