On the artist Mariapia Malerba
"This artist is without a doubt one of the few that are gifted with the crucible of originality, in which various materials melt into shapes that carry forth with aesthetic finesse. Her work is imprinted with the spirit from stories born of an aesthetic reality that most of us, can scarcely see, but, that she captures in order to bring us ever closer to the world she sees, so that our senses may partake in the experiential feasts that she prepares for us. Above all, Mariapia’s intention seems to be, that we too, may have a taste of a reality that can still embrace the beauty of life and the vision to cherish it fully in this very fragile and unique world."
