Biography    

Maria Pia Malerba was born in Supersano (Italy).

She attended the Art School and obtained the Academic Degree in Scenography at “Accademia di Belle Arti” of Lecce (Italy).

She moved in Como (Italy), where she learnt the art of goldsmithing and jewelry making.

In Como Maria Pia entered the world of textile design, working for famed stylists while testing new pictorial techniques.

In 1994 she moved to the USA, showing her artworks at the "Anita Pickerand" Gallery in Sarasota, Florida.

As of today, Maria Pia lives and works between Italy and the USA.
